A Touch of Farmhouse Charm – My Favorite New Book

I have something really special to share with you today, my beautiful and talented blogging friend, Liz, from Love Grows Wildwrote a new book called,A Touch of Farmhouse Charm, and she was so kind as to send me a copy to review.

And let me just tell you, I have looked through this book at least a hundred times already.  Not only does Liz have the most beautiful farmhouse, on an actual farm I might add, she also has an amazing talent for crafting up creative farmhouse pieces for her home.

In A Touch Of Farmhouse Charm, Liz shares 70 DIY projects with a list of all of the tools you will need to make each one, along with easy to follow instructions, so that you too can add a touch of farmhouse charm to every room in your own home.

I already have half the book marked with projects that I want to recreate.  And In fact, I’ve already completed my first one. As soon as I came to this page with instructions to make this simple rustic ladder, I went out to our my Mother-in-law’s wood pile and found some pieces of wood to make one for myself.

I followed the instructions and was so happy with how my ladder turned out. I had always felt that this wall in our living room needed something, but could never quite figure out just what. This ladder turned out to be the perfect thing for this wall. It’s also nice that it holds our extra blankets for when my family wants to cuddle up on the couch.

I haven't even read this book, I've just leafed through it and can already tell I am going to be OBSESSED! I have a very similar style, but love some of the new ideas to add to my home!

    Love, love, love!
