Around My Sisters House { Part 3 }

My most popular post of all time has been the one I did HERE, Decorating a Kitchen Wall & Window Frames
I’m guessing there are a lot of people googling window frames and I
just happen to have a pretty inspirational picture that they are all
clicking on.  But hey, I’ll take that!

The Post I did was for my sister, Natee. She was asking advice on what to do with her big blank kitchen wall.  So I gave her a lot of inspirational pictures to consider.

This is her Kitchen Wall

 BEFORE.

She had 2 window frames and wanted to incorporate one of them into her kitchen.

Then she gave me the other one.  And I’m still so Happy she did. You may remember mine ended up on my summer mantel.  I still plan to do a light white wash on it. We’ll see.

Natee Painted her window frame white, then painted the glass with chalkboard paint.

I gave her the idea in this post HERE

It turned out fabulous!

It’s just what her big blank wall needed.

I love the way she styled it with the Bon Appetit decal and red berry wreath.

She is going to be painting her kitchen table white soon.  I can’t wait to see it.  I want to paint mine too,  so I’m waiting for her to do hers first so she can share all of her tips.

Also, if any of you have tips or links about painting kitchen tables, please feel free to leave it in a comment below.  Thanks!

On one of the kitchen walls, she displayed her cool collection of rolling pins.

But since my visit, she has purchased this cute bistro print that she now has hanging in that spot, the rolling pins have been moved to the opposite wall.

I had to also snap a picture of this awesome scale she has above her fridge. Isn’t it great?

Thanks Natee for letting me post pictures of your lovely home.  I had a great visit. Your home is very warm and welcoming.

Keep us posted on all of your other projects.  We love to see them.
