Glass Monogrammed Ornaments

I made these monogrammed ornaments to hang on our Christmas tree this year.

I started off with plain glass ornament from Hobby Lobby.

The metal top comes off and you can fill it with whatever you can fit in it. The nice thing about these is that the edges are smooth so you don’t need to be worried about getting cut.

I filled mine with fake snow, holly berries and little fake pine branches.

I thought by adding a monogram it would make them feel a little more special. So I just hand painted on the initial with regular craft paint.

Lastly, I added a cute little ribbon to hang it by.

I think a white paint instead of black would look nice too. It would blend the initial  in better and give a more settle look. I also left a lot of them blank and love them as well. The glass looks really pretty with the tree lights shining through.

I’ll be sharing my tree soon.

So stick around.

Those are really cute. I think the addition of the sparkly snow really helps set it off against the green of the tree.
