New pendant lights in our kitchen And a Glass Pineapple

If you follow The Wicker House on social media then you might already know this, but I have installed two new pendant lights in our kitchen.

I found these lights at a yard sale and paid only five dollars for the two of them. This is why I love yard sales so much, you just never know what you’re going to find.

I really liked the wicker lights I had hanging up before, and so it was a big decision for me to decide whether or not I was ready to part with them. As I’ve mentioned before, I created these lights using wicker food covers that I painted white and attached to the light fixtures that were already hanging.

I loved the wicker ones, but it’s always nice to change things up, and I knew that these glass ones would be just as nice if not better.

The glass has a neat bubble effect to it and the glass itself is super thick and heavy.  They’re just really cool and a bit unique.

I recruited my handy Mother-in-Law to help me hang the new lights, and in no time at all I had two new beautiful pendant lights hanging in our kitchen. I’m really happy with them.

So another thing that’s new in our kitchen is this gorgeous glass pineapple.  My husband and I just celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary, and for a gift to ourselves we went out shopping and picked out this glass pineapple. We were Married in Hawaii so a Pineapple is a perfect gift.  I absolutely love how the sun shines in and lights the whole thing up.  It’s breathtaking!

So what Do you think of my new pendant lights and glass pineapple?
