Potted Succulent Centerpiece

Hello.

I just wanted to quickly share with you today this simple succulent centerpiece that I created.

(Simple Succulent Centerpiece…Say that 3 times fast 🙂 ) I wasn’t sure what else to call it.

Anyway, I put it together within minutes and I thought it turned out super cute.

Okay. so you are probably thinking, Yes I already know how to plant a plant, I’m not stupid. But what I mostly wanted to inspire you with is that I picked this vase up at the thrift store yesterday for just a few dollars. As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to create a little succulent garden in it.

The reason I thought that may inspire you is because these sorts of vases can Always be found at thrift stores, yard sales, and other junk stores.  And chances are you probably already have something like this on hand. But I think that this sort of vase might typically be something that you would just glance at and walk on by because on its own it doesn’t look like anything special.

By filling the vase up with dirt,  adding in a few Chick and Hen plants that I already had growing in my backyard (although these little plants can be found at most any nursery for not much at all). and then I just added in a few rocks and shells to create a beautiful centerpiece that is truly going to get some attention.

Not bad for a couple bucks spent at the thrift store, right?

Thanks for stopping by,

Emily
