Christmas Picture Gallery

When I sharedOur Rustic Cottage Christmas Tour I mentioned that this picture gallery was probably my favorite thing about my Christmas decorating, and it is so true!

All I did was gather up some of my favorite snowy pictures from last year and printed them out in black and white.

I used black and red  plaid wrapping paper as photo mats. The wrapping paper was found at Target.

I just taped my pictures onto the wrapping paper and framed them.

This is such a simple projects, and yet it makes such a big statement in the room.

These pictures make me Merry every time I look at them.  These were some memorable snow days spent with my boys.

And in case you were wondering, a tutorial on how to make my gallery wall  picture ledges can be found here.

And what is so wonderful about these ledges is that they allow me to switch around my pictures whenever I like, however, I think I’m going to have a hard time taking these pictures down when Christmas is over.

Thanks for stopping by,

Emily

Love the idea, especially the pop of color from the paper! It would be fun to leave up for the entire winter "season" too!
