Enamel Salt Box


Awhile back as I was wondering through a thrift store here in town I came across this sweet little treasure.
A vintage enamel salt box.


 I brought it home, cleaned it up and hung it up in our dining room.


 I just looked up salt boxes on etsy/e-bay, they are selling from anywhere between $50 - $100
Guess how much I paid for mine?


3 dollars!


Great find eh?

Now what to put in it?
 Salt?

    It's a wonderful find! Obviously the people who work at the thrift shop had no idea of it's worth. Lucky you!

    Lucky score! IN the Florida humidity, were I to put alt in there we would have a mess :) Mine would be filled with flowers .
